The Museum of Pilgrimages and Santiago is located next to the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral at Praza Das Praterías.
Opening Hours
The museum is open:
- Tuesday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Sundays and public holidays: 10:15 AM – 2:45 PM
Please note that the museum is closed every Monday, as well as on January 1st and 6th, May 1st, and December 24th, 25th, and 31st.

Ticket Price
- General Admission: €2.40
- Reduced Admission: €1.20 for youth card holders and students over 18, groups of more than 15 (with reservations made at least 15 days in advance), and pilgrims presenting a “Compostela” certificate or similar documentation.
- Free Admission: For visitors under 18, those over 65 or retirees, the unemployed, and cultural and educational volunteers. Admission is also free on Saturdays from 2:30 PM and on Sundays.
